NEVERSLEEP - As An Animal (Music Video)
The latest NEVERSLEEP single 'As An Animal' is accompanied by this post-human-world music-video in which a philosophical cockroach is chased by a serial-killer pig (both are in anthropomorphic guise) and fights for its existence.
The entire video was created purely with a sequence of photographs and purposely left unstabilised in order to retain the restless aesthetic.
The Berlin Electro-Pop duo NEVERSLEEP released their album 'In Ten City' in November 2013.

Laibach - The Whistleblowers
“The Whistleblowers” is a dark-pop music video serving as a visual manifest for the Slovenian group, who also co-founded the art collective NSK (Neue Slovenische Kunst).
The song is from the forthcoming Laibach album “Spectre” and was inspired by by people like Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning.
from laibach.org
"The Whistleblowers music video was directed by Norwegian artist Morten Traavik. Video was shot in Riga (Latvia) using a LOMO soviet camera lens.Morten: The lens creates both the unique texture of the images and the extreme widescreen format, much like a three-stripe national flag with the video as the middle stripe."

NEVERSLEEP - THE END OF THE WORLD II
NEVERSLEEP, the urban-electro-pop duo based in Berlin, recently released their album In Ten City.
"The End Of The World II" is the first single from the record. The music video that was published along with the song was constructed with original footage from the 8mm Black and White era and was edited down to suit the beat-driven track.
In a way the narrative of the video is loosely based on the story of Frankenstein and his monster but in this case a crazy german professor obsesses over the creation of a robot.

Lorde - Royals
Lorde, a teenager from Auckland, New Zealand is about to mix things up in a big way. With fresh yet contemplative lyrics Ella Yelich-O´Connor (her real name) manages to hit a spot that is uncomfortable but familiar.
this is what she adds to the video:
"lately i've been waking up at 4 or 5 a.m., turning things over in my head. so much to think about, so much to break down and process and decide. i'm only at the beginning, but it has always been important to me that everything feels cool, feels right. this song means a hell of a lot to me, and to others, and i guess what i tried to do is make something you could understand. a lot of people think teenagers live in this world like 'skins' every weekend or whatever, but truth is, half the time we aren't doing anything cooler than playing with lighters, or waiting at some shitty stop. that's why this had to be real. and i'm at that particular train station every week. those boys are my friends. callum's wearing a sweater that used to belong to me. so it all feels right, and i can sleep. thanks for being with me all the way so far -- so much to come, such great heights. i'm just getting started. enjoy xx"here is a remix of another great Lorde song with a free download link.

Kurt Vonnegut on the Shapes of Stories
At a lecture, the american Science-Fiction (amongst other things) writer Kurt Vonnegut creates a visual representation of the way stories work.
The curves in his graph, representing the wellbeing of the hero in the story, are more reminiscent of a math lesson, than would classically be expected in literature class.
