NEVERSLEEP - As An Animal (Music Video)
The latest NEVERSLEEP single 'As An Animal' is accompanied by this post-human-world music-video in which a philosophical cockroach is chased by a serial-killer pig (both are in anthropomorphic guise) and fights for its existence.
The entire video was created purely with a sequence of photographs and purposely left unstabilised in order to retain the restless aesthetic.
The Berlin Electro-Pop duo NEVERSLEEP released their album 'In Ten City' in November 2013.

NEVERSLEEP - THE END OF THE WORLD II
NEVERSLEEP, the urban-electro-pop duo based in Berlin, recently released their album In Ten City.
"The End Of The World II" is the first single from the record. The music video that was published along with the song was constructed with original footage from the 8mm Black and White era and was edited down to suit the beat-driven track.
In a way the narrative of the video is loosely based on the story of Frankenstein and his monster but in this case a crazy german professor obsesses over the creation of a robot.

A Trip to the Moon / Le Voyage dans la lune - 1902
It is considered to be the first science fiction film of all time and was written and directed by the French illusionist and filmmaker Georges Méliès, with the assistance of his brother Gaston.
In addition to elaborate sets they made use of animation and special effects to create this iconic piece.
To the modern viewer it may appear to resemble children´s theatre, rather than a science fiction film, but if one considers the year it was made and the lack of previous examples, it is truly a considerable achievement.
